Tiffinnn is a free platform for home cooks and tiffin service providers to connect with customers in their city. Whether you are just starting out or already have a customer base you want to grow, here is exactly how to get started.
Who Can Register as a Provider?
Anyone who: - Cooks food at home for others in exchange for payment - Has or is willing to obtain FSSAI Basic Registration - Operates within a defined delivery area - Can commit to consistent delivery schedules
Tiffinnn supports both regular tiffin service providers (daily meals) and homemade food creators (baked goods, snacks, sweets, beverages).
Step 1: Create Your Account
Visit tiffinnn.online and click"Get Started" in the top navigation bar. Register with your email address or Google account. During signup, select your role as"Provider."
You will be asked to provide: - Full name - Mobile number - City and area - Basic information about your service
Step 2: Complete Your Provider Profile
After creating your account, go to your Provider Profile page. This is the most important step — your profile is your storefront.
Fill in: - Business/Kitchen name: Something memorable and descriptive ("Rekha's Home Kitchen,""Satvik Tiffin Service") - Service description: Describe your cuisine style, cooking philosophy, and what makes your food special. Be specific —"Traditional Gujarati tiffin using fresh vegetables and minimal oil, serving Ahmedabad's Satellite area since 2022" is far better than"Good food" - Service area: Specify exactly which localities you deliver to. Be realistic — overpromising on delivery area leads to unhappy customers - Delivery timing: Specify your lunch and/or dinner delivery window - Pricing and subscription options: List your per-meal price and monthly subscription prices clearly - FSSAI number: Adding this immediately increases trust - Photos: At least 5 high-quality food photos and 1–2 kitchen photos
Step 3: List Your Menu
Create a clear, accurate menu. For tiffin services, this typically includes: - A sample weekly menu showing rotation - Customisation options (jain, no onion-garlic, extra dal, etc.) - Portion sizes and what is included in each tiffin
For homemade food creators, list each product category with descriptions and prices.
Step 4: Set Up Your Contact and Ordering Process
Customers will contact you via the platform to inquire about your service. Make sure to: - Enable notifications so you respond to inquiries quickly (within 2–4 hours ideally) - Have a clear process for new customer onboarding (trial week first, then monthly subscription) - Specify payment methods (UPI, PhonePe, Google Pay, bank transfer)
Step 5: Get Your First Reviews
Ask your existing customers to leave reviews on your Tiffinnn profile. Even 3–5 genuine reviews dramatically increase your credibility with new potential customers.
You can share your profile link with existing customers via WhatsApp and ask them to take 2 minutes to leave a review. Most satisfied customers are happy to do this.
What Tiffinnn Gives You
Tiffinnn is built for real home chefs who want consistent, loyal customers — not just one-time orders. When you stay open for online orders, customers develop a daily habit of ordering from you. That habit turns into trust, and trust turns into repeat business you can count on every single day.
There is no listing fee and no monthly subscription fee for providers. Joining the platform is free, and everything is designed to make managing your kitchen simple and stress-free.
How to Grow Your Presence After Launch
Once your profile is live: - Share your profile link in local WhatsApp groups, housing society chats, and with your personal network - Ask customers to share your profile when they recommend you to friends - Keep your photos updated seasonally - Respond promptly to every inquiry — response time is visible to customers and affects trust
The platform does the work of making you discoverable; you do the work of delivering great food and building your reputation.
