These Terms govern your access to and use of Tiffinnn. They are written for an India-based marketplace connecting customers with independent tiffin, home-kitchen, and homemade food providers.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Tiffinnn, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Disclaimer, and any other policy or instruction clearly made part of the service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. What Tiffinnn Does — Platform-Only Disclaimer
Tiffinnn is a technology platform and digital marketplace only. We connect independent food providers (home kitchens, tiffin services, bakers) with customers who are looking for home-cooked food. We do not prepare food, operate any kitchen, employ any chef or cook, source ingredients, or manage, arrange, or employ anyone for delivery or transport of any order.
Food preparation: All cooking, ingredient sourcing, hygiene, packaging, quality, labelling, allergen disclosures, and food-safety compliance are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the individual provider. Tiffinnn exercises no control over what a provider prepares or how they prepare it.
Delivery and transport: All arrangements for delivery, pickup, or transport of orders are made directly between the customer and the provider. Tiffinnn is not a party to that arrangement, does not employ delivery personnel, does not track shipments, and accepts no liability for late, damaged, or undelivered orders.
Tiffinnn operates as an intermediary as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted under those provisions.
Providers remain solely responsible for maintaining valid FSSAI registrations/licences, GST compliance, local business permits, and any other legal obligations applicable to their food business.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating or using an account.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
- You must not impersonate another person or misstate affiliation, identity, or authority.
- We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or platform safety requirements.
4. Provider Obligations
By listing on Tiffinnn, each provider represents and agrees that:
- all business details, menu information, service zones, pricing, and media are materially accurate;
- all required registrations, licences, and food-safety permissions are valid and current;
- ingredient, allergen, veg/non-veg, and dietary claims are not misleading;
- food is prepared, stored, packed, and delivered in compliance with applicable hygiene and safety rules;
- customer complaints will be handled fairly and promptly;
- no listing content infringes another person’s rights or violates law.
We may ask for proof of identity, FSSAI or other compliance details, or corrections to listings. We may remove, edit, pause, or refuse listings that appear unsafe, misleading, unlawful, or harmful to users or the platform.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Review provider details, ratings, pricing, and service terms carefully before ordering or subscribing.
- Share accurate delivery, contact, and order information.
- Raise allergy, medical-diet, or special handling issues directly with the provider before placing an order.
- Do not misuse reviews, payment tools, coupons, contact details, or platform messaging features.
6. Orders, Payments, Transaction Fees, and Refunds
Order placement may happen through direct provider contact, platform-assisted checkout, or both, depending on the listing and product flow available at that time. Where Tiffinnn enables online payment, the payment gateway is provided by an independent third party (Razorpay / Cashfree or such other gateway as may be in use).
Platform transaction fee: Tiffinnn charges a platform transaction fee of 10% to 15% of the gross order value on all online orders processed through the platform. This fee is inclusive of or in addition to applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) as required by law. The platform transaction fee and GST are non-refundable under all circumstances, regardless of the outcome of the order or any dispute.
Refund policy — partial refunds only: Full refunds are not guaranteed. The maximum amount that can ever be refunded is the order amount minus the non-refundable platform transaction fee and applicable GST. Refunds are considered only in the following limited circumstances:
- Payment was debited from your account but the order was never confirmed or accepted by the provider.
- The provider cancelled the order before beginning preparation, and has not partially fulfilled any part of the order.
- A documented technical failure of the payment gateway caused the amount to be debited without being settled to the provider.
Refunds are NOT available in the following scenarios (not exhaustive):
- Customer-initiated cancellation after the provider has confirmed or begun preparing the order.
- Quality disputes, taste preferences, or complaints about food — these must be raised directly with the provider.
- Incorrect delivery address or contact information provided by the customer.
- Delivery delays caused by the provider or logistics circumstances outside Tiffinnn’s control.
- Change of mind or accidental orders discovered after confirmation.
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method, subject to banking processing times. Tiffinnn's decision on refund eligibility is final. For the full consumer-facing rules see our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Reviews, Ratings, and User Content
You may submit reviews, ratings, photos, or other content only if it is lawful, honest, and based on genuine experience. You must not submit fake reviews, defamatory content, spam, or material that infringes rights or exposes private information without authority.
By submitting user content, you grant Tiffinnn a non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, and use that content for operating, promoting, and improving the platform. You keep ownership of your own content.
8. Prohibited Conduct
- breaking the law, including food-safety, consumer-protection, payment, privacy, or intellectual-property law;
- posting false, deceptive, or manipulative listings, reviews, or claims;
- scraping data, using bots, probing security, or interfering with the platform;
- misusing another user’s contact details or sending spam;
- attempting payment abuse, chargeback fraud, coupon abuse, or other dishonest conduct.
9. Intellectual Property and Takedowns
Tiffinnn branding, site design, and original editorial content belong to Tiffinnn or its licensors. Providers and users remain responsible for ensuring they have the right to upload photos, logos, and other content they publish through the platform.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Tiffinnn provides the platform on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, listing accuracy at all times, provider availability, or that every order will be completed exactly as expected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tiffinnn is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from provider conduct, food quality, delivery performance, or third-party payment systems. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not allowed under applicable law.
11. Grievances and Disputes
We encourage customers and providers to first raise issues through our support or grievance desk at hello@tiffinnn.online. Tiffinnn aims to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and work toward resolution within 30 days, depending on the issue and evidence available.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes connected to the platform.
12. Data Privacy and Marketing Use
By creating an account or using Tiffinnn, you acknowledge and agree to the following regarding your personal data:
- Data we collect: We collect information you provide (name, email, phone number, delivery address) and information generated by your use of the platform (order history, browsing behaviour, device and browser information, location data where permitted, and preferences).
- Confidentiality: Your personal data is kept confidential. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- Marketing use: We may use your data for internal marketing purposes including sending you personalised meal recommendations, promotional offers, platform updates, and other communications via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or push notifications. By accepting these Terms, you expressly consent to receiving such communications.
- Opt-out: You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, replying STOP to any SMS/WhatsApp, or contacting us at hello@tiffinnn.online.
- Service communications: Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional messages related to your orders, account, or platform security.
- Third-party processors: We may share data with trusted service providers (payment gateways, cloud hosting, analytics, communication tools) strictly for the purpose of operating the platform. These processors are bound by confidentiality obligations.

13. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may change the service, policies, or these Terms to reflect legal, technical, operational, or product changes. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised last-updated date. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
